Extra clothes and dishes out

I looked over the soup dishes and thinned them out, leaving only about six of modest size, but not soo small, with upright sides so they won’t slop.

I went through excess clothes and linens. I filled three large, decorated boxes: one with clothes that are slightly too small or need minor repairs; one with off-season clothes and athletic clothes such as bike shorts; and one of spare blankets.

Several bags of dishes and clothes went to the Goodwill thrift shop.

Lots of snow

This is from last week, when about 60 cm of fresh snow (or so it seemed) was piled on lawns and there was hardly anywhere to put the snow that was cleared off sidewalks and driveways.
