More swimming

I went this morning to practice my crawl with Oannes Swims, doing lengths and drills with triathletes to further correct and improve my stroke. My kicking is coming along nicely. And I got to try some swim fins. I got a cramp in my left calf. I think it’s related to not eating enough before a workout, or perhaps not having a glass of milk.
Here’s my approximate workout in the 25-yard pool at the John Innes Community Centre::
- breast stroke, 25 x 6 = 150
- “kicking 101″, 25 x 4 = 100
- kicking on back and rolling, 25 x 4 = 100
- front crawl, 25 x 6 = 150
Total, 500 yd. (450 m)
A body wash instead of plain soap helps me to get rid of the chlorine smell afterwards.
