Exercise status

Oannes Swims logoMy swimming practice with Oannes Swims is going well. I have three sessions a week, one on Sunday mornings and two on weekdays at 7:00 a.m. My swimming is improving in several areas: timing of strokes and breathing, body position, kicking technique, and of course endurance.

Today’s workout in 25-yard pool:

  • breast stroke 25 x 6 = 150
  • kicking drills 25 x 4 = 100
  • back kicking 25 x 2 = 50
  • rolling drill 25 x 6 = 150
  • freestyle 25 x 6 = 150

Total, 600 yd (540 m)

However, we skipped Pilates tonight to look for LotStreetWiz’s wallet, which is probably somewhere in the house. Pilates is in a new location that happens to be closer to our home.

The cat Marlowe is getting her antibiotics twice a day and already seems to be feeling better.
