Keyed Google Map of Philadelphia
David Caruso has created this neat map marked with all kinds of interesting sites, places to eat, etc. Philadelphia Sites
One of the most popular sites to see is Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was originally signed. In order to visit Independence Hall, you will need a ticket, which has a specific time assigned. These tickets are usually given out each morning; however, you can also pre-book tickets. In order to do this, you may call (1-800-967-2283) from 10 AM to 10 PM Eastern Time or you can use the website at http://reservations.nps.gov. While tickets to Independence Hall are free, the reservation fee is $1.50 per ticket.
203 Museums!
Did you know that there are 203 museums in the Philadelphia area? This story on NPR radio tells about two friends who visited all of them.
