Impromptu Greek parade

On Friday night, Greece unexpectedly upset France in the Euro cup in soccer (football). I live in the “Greek neighbourhood” so the streets were filled with folks cheering, honking car horns, and waving Greek flags. The main street, Danforth Avenue, was closed for an impromptu celebration. People were dancing in the street.

I’m going to attach a photo I took that evening as I drove home, well away from the main celebration. It’s the rear-view side mirror of my van showing the car behind with folks waving flags out the windows.
