Swim practice, March 2

Coached workout at 7 a.m. in 25-metre pool with Coach Kelvin:

  • warm-up: (50 m breaststroke + 50 m freestyle) = 100 x 4 = 400
  • 2 lengths freestyle = 50
  • 200 m freestyle x 3 = 600
  • 2 lengths freestyle = 50

Total: 1100 metres or 1210 yd.
Swimming is getting easier. I’m switching more easily into the snorts and deep breaths needed to get full lungs in a fraction of a second & keep them til the end of a stroke. My continuous swims are getting longer.
