Rag rugs, anyone?

A braided rug is made of cloth ripped into 1″ strips. That’s 2.5 cm wide. The strips are then braided and the braids coiled in a circular or oval pattern and stitched together. The rugs are sturdy and lie flat. Traditionally, rags are used. This gives a second useful life to worn out clothes and linens.
