We have a red one and a green one here, so they must be Christmas chairs.



Berry baby hat

This is made with remnants of wool from two other projects. It’s supposed to look like a berry — an alien berry like a koomatka, perhaps.

It’s a beautiful day in the neighbourhood.


For the amusement of crowds, Niagara Falls has fireworks on summer weekends.


Baby blanket squares

I’ve started to make a baby blanket, but I don’t want to work with the full width; so I’m making nine squares to sew together. There will be four white squares and five of different shades of lavender. The squares are made with the classic “diagonal square” pattern used for facecloths and dishcloths.

I went for a walk in an old right-of-way that had been abandoned. It had gone to weeds and small trees. There were butterflies, birds, animal trails, and signs of deer.
